Annual General Meeting

The 2023-24 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Vikings Women’s Fastpitch Club Inc was held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 6.50pm at the Kingsway Sporting Complex.

It was brought to our attention that to align with our Constitution, we are required to hold the AGM every calendar year within six months, after the end of the Association’s financial year, ending 30, May.

The AGM will be convened for the purpose of electing the 2023-24 Committee, with the business of the meeting as follows:

  1. Chairperson’s opening

  2. Apologies

  3. Previous minutes

  4. Chairperson’s report

  5. Treasurer’s report

  6. Election of committee members

  7. Close

Minutes from this meeting and previous AGM’s will be available on request when completed.

The following positions will be filled by nomination and/or election from the floor of the meeting:

  • President

  • Vice-president

  • Secretary

  • Treasurer

  • Registrar, and,

  • Not less that three (3) general committee members.

The Committee has be elected for a term of one (1) year.

Financial member who are over the age of eighteen (18) years are entitled to vote and to be elected to the Committee.

Any persons wishing to nominate for election to the Committee must have submitted their nominations using the nomination form, counter-signed by any two (2) existing Vikings Women’s Softball Club members, and emailed to the secretary@vikingssoftball.com.au by no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the AGM.

Any items of General Business must have been submitted to the Secretary not later than fourteen (14) days prior to the AGM for consideration.
